Hey gang, Been a long time, Hope all are well.

I am hoping some -one could point me in a Linux distro that would work OK with both TCadmin and most games besides giving clients a user base interface.

I have around 30 clients that use Windows RDP to control there servers.

I have been away for 3-4 years but this is my 20th year being a provider on niche games that no one else provides.

	Hope some one can help.

We recently got our server up and running, we're finishing up the last bits. How ever we cannot access or find our RPTs logs to help debug and see what is going on with the server. We are running Ubuntu. As of now we think we have to add a launch parameter to the .arma3server telling it to send the STDin and STDout to a accessible file. How ever TCAdmin handles the launching of the arma3server file. Is there a way with in TCAdmin to set that launch parameter or will we have to use the shh to edit it? We've been referencing the arma.RPT Bohemia page to figure out we have to do something with the STDin & STDout.
Anyone familiar with how to do that/find where the RPTs are generated for the server?
The ideal is for remote web control to be given. We are using TCAdmin for our gaming community and not as a server hosting for general clients. If required we can buy a copy of DCS world for us to login to and give access to for profile access. Was wondering however if anyone knew a neater way?

I am suspecting that it has to do with too many concurrent connections to the server box but I can't be sure.

I am looking to offer hosting for games like Ark and Atlas in areas like Texas, New York, Chicago, Georgia. If you are able to answer and provide any additional information I would appreciate it.

Do you use your own hardware or rented hardware?

If you're using your own hardware, is co-location how you get them in different locations?

Do you own your windows server licenses or do you rent them?

How much ram do you typically have in a machine running games like Ark?

What types of processors do you typically use in a machine running games like Ark?

Is it necessary to use a CPU like an I7 to host multiple instances of games like Ark?

I've tried shopping around on various dedicated server providers and it appears that the machines that have better processors with at least 64GB ram typically run a few hundred dollars a month at a minimum. If I were to get a machine with 64GB I would expect to be able to run a maximum of 10 instances on it. From what I see on most game server hosting companies $15-$20 a month is an average price for a small Ark server. If I were to be able to get 10 of them running on that machine it wouldn't even cover the costs of the server as well as the tcadmin and windows server licenses. Am I missing something? How are game server hosts able to profit?

Any help is appreciated. I'd really like to be able to find quality hosting at a price that I can turn a profit. Does this exist? Do I need to purchase my own machines to do this or is it possible when renting?

Thanks,
