If you want to use environmental variables on Linux and ran into issues, try this instead:
 

Quote

1. Open the file /home/tcadmin/Monitor/tcadmin-config
2. Create a new line consisting of

   export JAVA<version>="/path/to/java"

   for each version of Java you want to use. Example:

   export JAVA8="/opt/java8/bin/java"
   export JAVA11="/opt/java11/bin/java"
   export JAVA16="/opt/java16/bin/java"
   export JAVA17="/opt/java17/bin/java"

3. Save the file

Make sure to restart both the TCAdmin2 Monitor and TCAdmin2 Service Manager after setting the environment variables. TCAdmin will not be able to recognise the variables if you don't restart. If you're having any issues, try restarting the system.

I'm by and try and get MC for and run on Linux

But when I try and get it to and pick up Java then I get this one here

One who knows what to do there ??

@volborg that's unfortunately an issue on some Linux distributions. For some reason, it sees the SSL certificate as expired. You can install the 4 Java versions manually and setup environmental variables until I find a fix for that.

@Claythrone check the server log to find out why the service is crashing. It could be that it's not starting using the correct Java version. You can change the Java version for the service if that's the case.

The "Updates" plugin to download the different versions of Minecraft is having problems?

When clicking on "Install", it does not install the version and when placing the link on the page it throws an error

As of my experience of the latest update. The updates option in tc admin menu is no longer works for any update or other MC versions as it suppose to download from serverjars.com

@Dennis could you test and confirm ?? if yes, what are the alternatives as workaround ??

In my case it works for the Vanilla, Vanilla snapshot and Paper versions. Bukkit and Spigot have problems when downloading.

But the "Updates" button works with this module:

This is not an issue with the config. It's an issue with the TCACrons module.

ServerJars recently updated their API endpoints, and that's the reason. It will be fixed shortly.

What could be the reason that no more Curse Forge Mod are shown to me?

Curse mods are not part of the config. That's part of th Custom Mods module.

Try reinstalling the latest version of TCAdmin to see if that fixes the issue.

I'm having the same issue but no modpacks show up. I reinstalled the latest TCAdmin. This is for Windows btw. Also installed Crons so maybe that's the issue. I will keep trying different solutions. So far nothing has worked to bring back the modpacks.

I'm still having the issue with TCAdmin updated to latest and the modules uninstalled. So it's just the template and TCAdmin. What else could the issue be you think?

The game template has nothing to do with the module. You could configure Curse Mods for any game - even CS.
Please only discuss stuff about the game config in this thread. If you need help with Curse Mods/Modpack Installer, create a separate thread.
