yah I thought that so I've updated all my c++ but still no luck, the only thing I don't understand is I can load the server via a bat file just not on the exe which mean I can't place a cmd line on it :/ could you tell me exactly what c++ you have install so I can check?

Our server times out using for config. Any ideas why?

thanks for your quick replys I've gone into terminal and used the following command /home/tcadmin/Monitor/monitor-service start as root and i get the following responce 'Could not start the TCAdmin Monitor' I'm currently using the latest explorer for windows, I have looked into firefox and everything seems fine there. As for port 8891 do i change that in the config file? I have a monitor attached to my server, my laptop is for general use with windows 7 its only on the same connection im not using the laptop to connect to server.

After installing tcadmin 2 on our main server which is running centos 5. When I try to open tsadmin via firefox either http://public_server_ip:8880 or http://127.0.0.1:8880 I get the following message "firefox can't establish connection..." I then tried it on my windows laptop and that works perfectly fine both are hooked up to the same router so I am completely confused what to do next! Any help would be fantastic (: fiby
