  1. Took me about 3 hours to work out why it was working for some users but not others, haha.
  2. Hello, Don't really post much on here, but I thought I'd let everyone know about the most recent update of CS:GO which may have caused segmentation faults on people trying to run CS:GO servers on some of their users on linux systems. This is bug, which I believe Valve know about, the bug happens when there is an uppercase letter somewhere within the pathname. So, basically all of your users have to be lowercase. Fortunately (I guess) I only have a couple of users with cs:go that have uppercase letters in their username, so I just changed their usernames manually. Hope this helps anyone having issues with CS:GO. You have to be on your toes when games are in beta. Andy
  3. I heard you can use mono and/or wine though along with some packages that I have aquired. Just can't seem to get arma working in the first place.
  4. So, I have had numerous requests for dayz servers. However, to get dayz servers to work you first of all need arma2 to work. I am specifically having issues when coming to run the server basis. It installs fine - no errors, but then when I ./server I get a segmentation fault. I have had a look around and people say to "install ia32-libs" I don't have apt-get being that I'm using CentOS 6 and yum doesn't find ia32-libs or even apt. What do? I'm a bit of a linux noob.
  5. I am having problems with installing mw3 on my server(s). I have tried setting up my own config and I have also tried using this: http://clientforums.tcadmin.com/showthread.php?t=9203 I have asked in a support ticket, but they said they don't provide support for that sort of thing, so I'm posting here. With regards to the thread posted, I can't seem to install wine etc - I tried using yum. Can anyone give me any help? I don't have much experience with anything other than source based engines. I am on centos 64-bit.
  6. Hello, Clients keep getting this error every week or so. http://vvcap.net/db/XNXsNx4XdFusdWLUvIwM.jpg I know how to temporarily fix it, but not permantly. Temp fix, is to clean out my /tmp partition, which gets full really fast and it's .5GB It's always the dump folder, any suggestions? I guess I can increase the size of the partition, but if it's filly .5GB a week, then surely it'll just get full again eventually? I should have copied the dump file, but I wanted to restore the services as soon as I could. Thanks, Andrew.
  7. My gameservers just died now too, I have no idea where the error is, it was working fine a few days ago and I've not changed any settings. (I did have some issues with my nameserver, but that's all fixed now)
  8. Hey guys, My tcadmin is generally running very slow and when I try to edit certain things (such as the remote DB connection) I get a connection error and it just times out, I have restarted my dedi and it didn't help. I've only just installed tcadmin a few days ago and was trying to configure it, but now this has started to happen, any ideas of what could be wrong? Cheers, Andy. p.s. here is part of todays error log: 10/14/2011 12:13:09 System System.Net.WebException: Error: ConnectFailure (Connection refused) ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: Connection refused at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Connect (System.Net.EndPoint remoteEP) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at System.Net.WebConnection.Connect (System.Net.HttpWebRequest request) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.EndGetRequestStream (IAsyncResult asyncResult) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetRequestStream () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke (System.String method_name, System.Object[] parameters) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 ^M ~
