YsRCeciel
i don't know if anyone else has one but im looking for a script i have been told that there is one out here for TCA but cant find it. i am looking for a script so that users can type in the mod ID and select install or update and execute to install or update mods for ARK: survival evolved as having them all downloaded in the mods section would take up way to much HDD space. thanks in advance
Dennis
No matter what, the mods needs to be on the ARK server. You can't mount the odds without them being there.
YsRCeciel
i know that but it would be good if there was a script to download them as ark server launcher/ ark remote setup can be unstable. a friend of mine linked me a site that has what im looking for but im no coder. and not sure if im allowed to link the site. its using TCADMIN and its also using a demo account so u can see the mod installer. Dennis
Probably just this tool that they've implemented: https://github.com/barrycarey/Ark_Mod_Downloader
YsRCeciel
oh ok.. so how would i implement that in to tcadmin?
Dennis
For version one, that's not possible I think. For version 2, you just create a script that reads the input from the user and makes TCAdmin execute the command to update that specific mod. Dennis
I'm having issues getting the script running on our Debian server. Doesn't seem to work as it should on Linux.
