Copy Service file with a script

I have been trying to copy a service file with a batch script i have used %ThisService_RootDirectory% and %ThisService_WorkingDirectory% and other ones but every time i run it it is saying invalid path Process exited with code 4 but it works fine if i put the direct path in it i thought it may not be getting the full pathh but when i did echo %ThisService_RootDirectory% it displayed the full path.
