Auto reinstall server

I've had a look at the server scheduled tasks but it only seems to allow restarts.

 

I'm wanting to schedule server reinstalls. (would be ideal for daily resets on demo servers).

 

The only way i've found so far would be with Minecraft and using a cron job to remove the world files daily then having a scheduled task to restart the server. Which would generate a new world each time.

 

Any suggestions or alternative for other games would be great but I think it would be a useful feature.

Well to be fair most of the time a "reinstall' doesn't need to be done on "auto" but yes in this case it make sense.

 

If that not possible then yes resetting the map or whatever is the best option. Some games may even have a command that you could setup a scheduling to work "around" this.
