Aeioyoo
Our demo users can still delete and edit files, even though the "This feature is disabled in demo mode" message shows.
Dennis
That doesn't sound good. Do you log in as a user, go to the file manager, delete a file, have the message shown, and after the message is shown, the file is gone? I'm not able to reproduce that. We're running the latest beta. Which version of TCAdmin are you on?
Aeioyoo
Version 2.0.124.0 on Linux. And yes, I delete the file, after message it's gone, in SSH and file manager.
Dennis
Can someone else confirm this on 2.0.124.0? Could be a bug that has been fixed.
Aeioyoo
Error doesn't occur on the tcadmin demo they host themselves, which leads me to believe it's an error in our configuration. However they might also be on beta, or a different os. And as far as I know, there's no configuration options releating to demo users. Even so, anyone else confirming would be useful. Edit: Yes, the tcadmin themselves demo is on beta, 2.0.125. Edited April 25, 2019 by Aeioyoo
Dennis
That is indeed a beta. You might want to contact TCAdmin and get access to beta updates. If I have the time tomorrow, I'll try and setup a new instance of stable TCAdmin and see if I can reproduce the bug.
Mark9000
Can confirm this is isolated to Aeioyoo's install as I'm not having said issue.
Aeioyoo
Anyone else confirm on non beta? And if not, any idea what's causing? File permissions are usual afaik, and I don't know of any demo-related options as I said.
