Minecraft server use to much ram without player

TCAdmin version: 2.0.175.0

Operation system: Ubuntu 20.04  LTS 64bit

SPECS: Hosted on OVH 4cores 8Gb ram VPS Server

Database: Mysql

 

Hello.  My MC server use to much ram without players and any plugins. on minecraft server i added allocate ram 2Gb max but server  after starting use much more ram and doesnt drop ram usage.

here is my commandline on starting server.

but doesnt change on ram usage all time use more then allocate.

and i whant know if this is normal on linux or not becose i try testing mc server on windows and use ram 20-30% from allocated max ram.

i added screen from TCAdmin control panel MC ram usage.

-Xmx2048M -Xms256M is just allocating min/max RAM to Java. The actual server might still use more. You need to set the maximum RAM in the service settings as well:

I had this problem in the beginning with 1.8.1. Switching to the Paper mod dropped CPU and memory usage dramatically.  Give that a try!

tnx bug resolved i get dedicated server and all minecraft ram usage problem is gone.
