studeggle Posted May 20, 2007 Share Posted May 20, 2007 That is IP6 protocol. Just remove the IP6 adapter (Microsoft TCP/IP Version 6) from your network adapter if you don't want it. DougK94 Posted May 20, 2007 Share Posted May 20, 2007 TCAdmin WILL run on a desktop OS, but it is very highly recommended that it be run on a server OS. Desktop OS's limit the number of connections allowed at a time. If you are running TCA on a single server for a private group, this may be sufficient, but if you are hosting for others, you will have problems that can be sorted out quickly now by switching to a server OS. W2k3 server is not very expensive at all if you are part of MS's hosting program, which legally you should be if you are in this business.
