stupidest thing youve done in your hosting career

Figured i'd start this since I just did the stupidest thing ever.

In my haste to get a new box set up I clicked disable network adapter instead of properties while trying to add ip's to a brand new box. Now it takes hours for some cali tech to casually stroll into the server room and re - enable it. :(

You might think about changing who you host with. Any reputable datacenter shouldn't have a problem taking care of that for you in just a few minutes..

They do this in about 5 minutes when I did this in chicago.

I have never gotten a response time longer than 6 minutes on a support ticket. No matter if it's 3 PM or 3 AM.

Support ticket response time and onsite support are very different creatures.

But I'll bet you double check before clicking on the network settings now ;)

Deleted the tc_services table when I should hav deleted the tc_services_performance.

My most recent backup was about 30 hours ago, but the problem was I had since moved all IPs of all servers.

I had to recreate around 160 servers
