Need experienced Help

Hi everyone, im new to tcadmin and the forums. Ive read through the forums a bit and it seems as though there are some very well known faces around.

 

Right onto my query...

 

Ive installed tc admin + iis/mysql and the webpanel. All is working fine thus far. Apart from when using multiple ips, the server will work - but the ftp doesnt?

 

Could some of you more experienced tc admins offer some suggestions on tweaking the server to perform as best as possible under windows server 2003 + windows firewall.

 

Maybe some extra apps that might be helpful, un-needed services to disable, tc admin setting suggestions, any things you do besides the basic tc admin install. Ive come from previously hosting on a linux enviroment so Im eager to learn some of the windows tweaking to run gameservers.

Remove the Windows Firewall and see if it works. If it Does then you know thats what it is. You can then add an exception for the monitor console into windows firewall.....

thanks swish I will take a look and report back. Do you have any other suggestions on tweaking the server etc?

Everyone has thier own beliefs on setting a server for Games....Best starting point I can think of is just to stop all unnessacary services from running/starting in the background.
