Windows Server 2008 support

What if I would use TCAdmin on Windows Server 2008? Would there be difficulties installing and running Remote Monitor on this OS? As ECF wrote is some thread, WS2008 will allow srcds to run with 1000fps - it's a reasonable benefit.

Try it and see . I am sure a few guys in here have got it to run on 2k8. I honestly have not played with the os much.

We've run it on 2008, didn't have any issues that we came up with...And yes, you can achieve 1000 fps on Win2008, as long as the motherboard supports HPET...There are a few Supermicro boards that are real nice for this.....

Sorry, could You please explain what is HPET? It this supported by Intel motherboards on i3000 or i3200 chipset?
