why do i need master and remote?

Just a quick question. What's the concept behind Master Server and remote server?

To sum it up for those who cant be bothered to click.

 

Master is used on your first server, this runs the control panel itself.

 

Remote is when you use additional servers, it connects to the master server so you can add gameservers to the new server.

and to further clarify...you CAN run servers on your master server. So if you are just starting out you can run a server or two on the master. Its not highly recommended but an option.
