Tick and FPS

I am having a problem making my Counter Strike Source server above 33Tick and 250FPS. I changed the command line before installing the server to -game cstrike -console +ip xx.xx.xx.xx -port 27015 +maxplayers 12 +exec server.cfg +map de_dust2 -tickrate 100 +fps_max 500. I even went as far as going to the service and overiding the command line to the above one. I am pretty sure it has something to do with installing it through TCAdmin.

Does it boost when running it from the command promt? If not then its not tcadmin.

Are you running boosting software?

You need to be running a fps boosting system to get 500+fps. Also check your default server.cfg files that the rates are setup correctly.

 

max_rate 25000 or 30000 and min rate around 15000

cl_updaterate 100

cl_cmdrate 100

 

Ive found a couple of times servers not hitting 100tr is simply down to customers sticking there own server.cfg's in with the wrong rate setups.

Yes I was running a boost script. I found out that I needed to have it setup at fps_max 600 rather then the fps_max 500. I found that out 1 minute later haaaa. Appreciate your help guys.
