Windows 2003 - tcadmin

 

I need some help to make my server to stay at 100 tickrate. I already downloaded the files and loaded into tcadmin. In the Additional Arguments i also added in +fps_max 600 -tickrate 100 and restarted the server. Im not sure if this is just like source on how the tickrate works.

 

When i join the server i only get 20fps on the net graph. When I join other pub server i get either 60 to 100 tick.

 

Please advise.

Make sure you are running some kind of pingbooster software to maintain the tickrate. There is a program called srdcsbooster of something close, or a good way to check if thats the issue is to open up a website for example 2advanced.com that runs flash that will boost the tick rate also.

Found my issue.

 

Needed to set my cl_cmdrate "101" and cl_updaterate "101" after I set the server up.
