ninetoes
Ok first things first i have installed the whole program and when it came to the part where it says the ips for the monitor it showed my internal ip and then where it said the HW firewall ip i put in my outside ip and this is when i was installing the program its self. Now that i have it up and running and all the files are in the right place and stuff like that for the user and game files when i goto the admin home page then system settings then to servers the monitors ip is my internet network ip shouldnt that be the outside ip??? and also when i go to create a game server all it says is creating game server and email will be sent to you when its doen but i never get one and then also when i goto the gameing services and select the new service button when i get to the ip section it doesnt show me the outside ips only the internal ones and i have noideal on whats going on now i know im going to lose some of you with what i just said but please let me know if maybe someone wants to mess with it ill give ya full access to it cause im so lost right now its not even funny. P.S. i have the master copy of this cause i only have 1 server at the moment thanks for any help on this.
DougK94
Are you trying to run this at home behind a router?
ninetoes
yes that is correct
Ndemandgaming
Sounds like you need to do some port forwarding in the configuration section of your router if you're running from home. Most routers have preconfigured game port forwarding options. You just need to select the game.

ninetoes
yep all the files are in the correct location and all that but ok it will make the server but it never takes out the creating file in the userfiles and the other thing is when i just goto the gaming services and make a server it will show up but i cant see it on my network the game server isnt responding and when it seens the welcome email it users the internal ip like a 10.10.1.14 address instead of my outside ip like 67.53.137.xx how can i change that info on the server itself thanks
WR-Rob
login to your tcadmin, then go to system settings, then to servers. In the box on the right it will drop down a menu and in there is configure ips, click that. Once your in there it will tell you what ips are assigned to that box. If i was you i would delete the internal ip from there so there should just be your external ip. Then go into create game server and select a game, where it says autoip, click that and see if it lists the external ip
