License Key..

My friend rented a dedicated server from a company which I won't name unless required to.

 

His license key in TCA is 0000-0000-0000-0000-0000 or something along the lines of that, should it be that or should it be an actual license key.

That is correct, the company has the Datacenter edition. The key is then hidden from end users for security reasons.
