In kb/s issues..

Hi Guys,

 

Basically I have just setup a new box.. I have created a 12 slot 100 tick server on it running with srcdsfpsbooster.exe but my in is still around 20 kb/s

 

Below is my command line and screenshot.

 

-game cstrike -tickrate 100 -console +ip **.**.**.** -port 27015 +maxplayers 12 +exec server.cfg +map cs_office +fps_max 550

 

 

All help is much appreciated.

Your server.cfg rates are wrong.

 

Change/insert these lines:

 

sv_maxrate 30000

sv_minrate 25000

sv_maxupdaterate 101

sv_minupdaterate 50

sv_maxcmdrate 101

sv_mincmdrate 50

 

Also, you need to make sure YOUR variables are correct. Typing this in console:

 

cl_cmdrate 101

cl_updaterate 101

rate 30000
