ok, since my old provider is "bound by the NDA" not to disclose how they setup my dedicated server, then left me hanging with no notice. Can someone help me to figure out how to get TCA to setup the PB screen shot web access. like when you go to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:2000/pbsvss.htm you get the list of screen shots.

 

I would really appreciate some help on this. Thanks

Don't know, no one has the full story. But what I was told, and the AA honor customers was told, they are no longer providing services, and transfered all customers to leetservers.

The only solution I know of is custom scripting, TCA has a nice API and there is also the install script function (System Settings > Supported Games > Install/Uninstall Scripts) in TcAdmin, between these two most things are possible with coding, but most if not all would consider such scripts to be company trade secrets and therefore would most likely not be released to customers or the general public in any type of buyout situation.

I think to get what you want automated (as your other thread alloods too) you will need a custom script written, so either hit the code books, or hire someone.

But who knows perhaps there is someone actually nice enough to release something like that freely to the public, I just wouldn't hold your breath.

I think I got someone lined out. I could always manual install them in the application manager for now.

Well I was able to come up with it, and since I am not a jerk, I will release it here to the public, so no one else has to hear "my NDA will NOT.....Blah blah blah" Here ya go all you new people just starting out.

You can do this using the TCAdmin Install/Uninstall scripts.

 

I posted a script for this some time ago in the scripts forum section.

 

This should atleast get you started. You can google "create virtual directory via batch" and it should help ya.

For a gaming community I assisted, I setup IIS using the TCA IP, making the DIR the screenshots folder and the end port :21300 - or a port of your choice.

The problem is the diehard AA honor players I've actually played this game since 2003 and as VicToMeyeZR said this is the normal setup they are all used to using http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:2000/pbsvss.htm or http://xxx.xx.xxx.xx/xxx.xx.xxx.xx/pbsvss.htm (using the ip twice). And it has to be accepted by the anti cheat communities.

We have run single IP since day one, and I am noticing more and more are coming to their senses about the 2 IP setup just being silly.

 

Hey Vic, verify also that the script you posted is only for 64 bit systems if I recall

Yes it is only for 64 bit.

Victomeyer and I got it working last night. It was odd in the drop down menu for manually creating web sites in IIS it only showed the main ip or "all assigned". Victo finally figured it out we had to type the ip address in manually for each game server hehe. Got the pb folder locked and screen shots are working. Once again thank you all for your time and support.
