iceraven721
Does tcadmin work on any version of server 2003? Such as the web edition? Or does it require standard?
DougK94
It will run on web edition, however you might check the licensing of web edition

DougK94
MS likes to go into data centers and conduct a software audit. It is not a pretty sight if you do not have your ducks in a row........
nosit1
How are they allowed to barge into people's equipment and conduct audits?
Dan M
I don't think they are, I've just revised their TOS and Privacy act and it says nothing of the like
Jissh
I don't think they are, I've just revised their TOS and Privacy act and it says nothing of the like MS audits data centers all the time. This is why when you had your volume licensing setup with MS they wanted you to list which data centers you will be allowing to do your software installs. Look at the documentation you signed, it's all there in black and white.

Ah, I didn't manage that side of things I was defining "barging into the datacenter" as they aren't
VicToMeyeZR
Microsoft can do whatever they want. They run the world anyways. Really what are you going to do about it? Hell their Vista version will delete any programs IT feels are not registered properly to you, without even telling you its deleting it.
