Multiple Mod Installs

Well, a way to distribute content for mounting is adding it as a "game-mod". However, I have noticed that when the user installs one mod, it will not show it as installed for another one also installed. Is there a way to allow multiple mods to be installed at once?

I'm not sure what you mean exactl...

 

If you mean actually install them all at the same time, its simply a case of putting them all into one zip file, and setting them as one download.

 

If you mean that TCA only shows one mod as being installed, then its a little missleading. If you install a mod, lets say amx modx, it will show as installed. You then install zblock, and zblock shows as installed.

 

BOTH mods are installed, as TCA only shows the LAST mod (or patch) that was installed.

Not really what's hes meaning. He said that when a customer add a mod, the last one is deleted but not listed with the new one.

When you're installing a mod, nothing is deleted. "Mod" field should be renamed in "Latest mod installed".

We talk all about the same thing ? We're talking About, just the lastest installed mod is listed (we don't say if files are there or not, doesn't matter), but for exemple if You have CSSmatch installed via the plugin installor, when you're gonna install Mani Admin with the installor, when you'll click on the plugin installor, you won't see CSSmatch like already installed.

Like, the user can install CSS and TF2 content, however the last content installed is TF2. When you go back to CSS, it will display install. Doesn't list that user B has CSS and TF2 installed.

nosit you're talking about something you don't understand =/ We're talkins about mods not games. PLUGINS / MODS = Mani Admin Plugin for exemple. Games = TF2, CSS.

iLight there are several games were the files from other games like TF2 and CSS act like mods. It is called adding content, and the mod function in tcadmin is used for this becuase it modifies the original game. Nosit1 knows exactly what he is talking about.
