CaffeineJunkie
Is there a way to not allow certain characters in .cfg file for HL servers? As of right now, if a user puts sys_ticrate 500 & fps_max 250 in their server.cfg, they can increase the FPS and ticrate to whatever they want without having to pay for it. Thanks, Caffeine
Johnny5_Hull
Just add the values into the default command line. That way, even if they change the cfg file, when they restart the server for it to take effect, the setting in the cfg file will be overwritten by the command line. studeggle
They don't need to restart the server "exec file.cfg" will execute the config file without restarting the server or reloading the commandline. You need to devide your boosted and unboosted servers. If you host them on the same machine you risk a client boosting an unboosted server.
