Need CoD:5 Help

Hey i just bought cod5 today and when i go to start it up all i see is a black screen. and maybe sound if i am lucky.

Anybody know a fix to this?

I did. Also installed directx again and still doesnt work.

Yes I know how to fix that problem but I can't tell you how. I would not want to give you the impression that I was trying to rip you off.

I doubt you know how to fix the problem. Ive researched it and finds out that my video card cant handle it.

You could also try updating your video card drivers, unless you are sure that your video card can't run it, if that is the case then you are pretty much out of luck until you can get a new card.

Well I have a ATI x800 Pro graphics card. I did this System Requirement run test on my computer and everything is good except for:

 

Vertex Shader Ver.: Required - 3.0 , You have - 2.0

Pixel Shader Ver.: Required - 3.0 , You have - 2.0

 

I dont know what that is or how I can change it. Does any1 know how?

there are still major issues with the game, I have a similar issue, that i've tried everything and its brother to try and rectify the issue, still to no avail. I'm able to get ingame, however as soon as I join a server the game freezes...waste of $50 so far ..I'll wait for the next update, im going to give up on it

That's something that can only be fixed by upgrading your graphics card
