VicToMeyeZR
Anyone having issues with your bandwidth for the servers you have hosting AA downloads? I am really curious. You don't have to post HOW much was used, but I would really like to know if anyone that host's these files is having issues. Thanks
{-SMAKU-}_MotorMouth
I put AA files for public download on our website. The thing from pragmatic is a waste of bandwidth to just give them. When AA 3 comes out you will see a huge jump in bandwidth usage. I hosted files for ASR updates awhile back to test out the bandwidth and the few people playing that caused a huge jump in bandwidth, by 5 MB/s for the entire month. VicToMeyeZR
lol. huge jump.. Well I don't think we could get any bigger than it already is. We already are at 500GB a day. and according to pragmatic you are only allowed to have the Deploy client available for download by the public... And the one update file for aa2.8.4.0... {-SMAKU-}_MotorMouth
I was using a smaller gaming group from ASR as an example. The few that used a program like Deploy increased our bandwidth by 5 MB/s for the entire month in just a couple days. Not 5 MB of data, 5 MB/s of transfer usage for a month. with AA having 1,999,900 more players I can see it being a big big waste of transfer.
