Derek
Hello TCAdmin, I would like to hear from everyone regarding how you backup your tcadmin database and how often you do so. Thanks!
KingJ
Nightly. The SQL files are then uploaded to our web server (inaccessible to the public of course) on a separate machine. The SQL file is also stored locally on the machine if I need to do a fast restore (i.e the hard drives are fine, the MySQL database was the only thing to go south)
Steven Crothers
https://www.rapidvps.com/index.php?page=Hosting.Backup.Specs That's what I use for everything, for $30.00 a month you can backup until your face turns blue. I've had zero downtime. Full 10mbit speeds and unparalleled support for going on 5-6 months of my use of that service. Also look into there VPS's for DNS hosting. Super high uptime on those as well, and there all redundant in ways most of us can't afford so its a great DNS storage device as well. http://forums.rapidvps.com/member.php?u=157 Been using them since 2006, zero complaints. Dan M
We are provided with 10GB of space from our provider via FTP which we have a cron script which executes a BAT file, saves and uploads the database.
nosit1
I have my WHMCS database sent to me nightly, and then our TCadmin is backed up locally, sent to my e-mail, and as well as uploaded.
