TCADMIN Website on different website

Ok so as my title say i want the website part of things on a different like a vps

 

i have 1 master licence all ready so to do this will i need a remote licence aswell or what ?

 

Master Server which is hosting all my game servers.

 

Then I have a VPS Server which takes care of the MYSQL Database and the TCAdmin Website.

 

 

So by me looking at what i want i need another licence?

 

Can someone confirm what i need to do this?

Hi,

 

You messed it up a bit but never mind.

 

If you want the "Master" server to run on VPS, just rent a VPS and install it. (You need to have master license for this of course).

After you successfully installed it, you will probably want to install a remote server (the one which will host game servers).

 

Go to tcadmin.com and order the remote server assigned to the key of the main master server (you can find the key if you login to master server and go to "About").

 

After you bought it, download the tcadminsetup.exe to the new "remote" server and install it as "Remote server", it will ask you for config file which you can obtain if you open the firefox/ie and browse to your Master Web server.

 

Login and go to System Settings -> Servers, then click "New", fill out all the necessary data related to the remote machine (the one you'll host games on) and click "save", then click on "Config file", you'll be offered with the download, after downloading it go back to tcadminsetup and select it.

 

Finish the Tcadmin setup and you are ready to go, don't forget to make the folders GameInstalls and UserFiles in C:/.

 

After you created the folders go back to your new configured server ( System settings -> Servers) click on it. And enter the Game files path and Users file path.

 

That should be it, just download your dedicated server files to the remote one.

Thanks for the long reply but i was hoping to do it the way tcadmin has it with there hosting package or would it be better to have my VPS as my master server ? Have a small VPS as my master server without any game servers running on it just the mysql and website.. and my dedicated server for just game servers

 

So if i got that route i need a master licence + a remote licence?

 

 

 

Or would it be better to install website + database on vps and make my dedicated box the 1 thats hosts all game servers?

You don't need a license for the web server. Just install the web server on the VPS, then rerun the tcadmin installer on the master server configuring it as a master monitor only. During the monitor reconfiguration you will need to point it to the web server and database.

When you run the setup, one of the selections is web server only. If you select that while installing on your VPS, you do not need a license for that if you have a master already.
