TC-Admin and windows 2008

Hello,

 

just one question before buying a license:

 

TCAdmin works with Windows 2008? If not, when/what plans?

 

MS doesn't sell any 2003 licenses anymore.

I run a Dedicated and it works fine on 2008 with no problems at all just make sure you read all the stuff on setup or you might have problems later..........The reason the site has not been updated is because they will not say it works 100% untill the are 100% sure it does with no issuses

Well with WIN 2008 if you have onboard GFX card when installing TCAdmin the screen can mess up if you get in a hurry and it will freeze up and the only way to fix is VIA your host restarting it or for you to call the datacenter(for colo) and have them reset it.......

I would think that is a problem with your onboard graphics and not TCAdmin.

 

TCAdmin works fine with all of our server 2008 64 bit systems. No problems at all.

We have used 2008 on one of our systems and the only issue we found was random crashes of America's Army. We were never able to solve the issue so we just don't run AA on that server. One other minor issue is no interact with desktop.

Hey Sickpuppy did you try using compatability mode for AA? That has solved a few of our problems like Battlefield Vietnam.

 

Also it should interact with desktop our do. You just access it differently than on 2003.
