VAC Wont Run

Hello,

 

So i have reinstalled the CSS server two times and nothing ended up working. I tried -secure on startup however that was a no go aswell.

 

-game cstrike -console +ip %serverip% -port %serverport% +maxplayers %slots% +exec server.cfg +map de_aztec

 

Is what im using now.

Start it up with that command line using a batch file and check to see what the error is at the bottom when it connects to VAC servers.

Could not establish connection to steam servers.

 

Ports allowed and everything.

VAC was working at one point with GameCP but not when i switched to TCAdmin

Can you pull up a website on that box?

You may want to note I suffered from this earlier this week and a friend I know who owns a dedi box elsewhere also experienced no VAC connection.

 

Steam have been having problems - you can see official announcements on their forums. Steam friends has been down at least once a day for about 3 days straight.
