Try using the gamespy settings like SWAT4

 

swat is gamespy 2 but doesnt work for KF

btw does any1 know if spectators are considered as slots by TCA ?

 

I mean if I got %slots% set to 6, 6 active players and 32 spectators will TCA consider there are 38 slots?

 

I hope so, this way I can limit the spectators amount by allowing extra slots or not.

Oh I see, the monitor port, well server is stopped by tcadmin for not responding..

set game compatibility to blank or disable stop/restart in plugins > monitor

my server doesnt show in the master server list, nor can i connect. i wonder if the query port needs changing?

would have been nice if they mentioned they had updated the dedi servers soon after release, i ran steam update and its working now. thanks for the help louise, i just popped my cherry on UT2004 based servers

Nice game so far, got 6 servers running full since their creation, each server uses almost no cpu (1% with a peak to 4%) and barely 150-160 Mb RAM. No crash, no problems, I just wich TCA could query it so I dont have to do regular manual monitoring.

Does the config in this thread work?

in the default config files you need to change the port to %serverport%, otherwise its ok

 

i uploaded mine but you will need to change the email body and the rackage related messages in the default config, otherwise its tried and tested with firewall scripts thanks to louise
