fps_max 1000 ?

Hello, someone know how to make his server up to 1000 fps?

 

Mines don't go ahead 500fps :s (512)

You can only get 1000fps with HPET servicing interrupts. XP and 2003 do not support it. Only vista/2008 do.

 

You can get much higher FPS by reverse engineering HAL and patching in something that does ultra accurate sleeping (with queryperformancecounter())

yeah for window u need hpet in bios and either running a window media player open or a script that someoen posted here.

 

for linux u need to get a custom kernel .

Well I have win2003 and I use a fps booster.

 

Tickrate is just fine 100-104 but the fps don't go ahead 505-500 I don't know why.

 

What's HPET btw?
