gemcneill Posted June 11, 2009 Share Posted June 11, 2009 I know this is not what tcadmin is designed for but I need to install dotnet 2.0 on all the servers I have for a recent function I have added. I was thinking that I could create a custom link that would execute code, and then for example install dotnet 2.0 as a mod a game server on each physical game server and then run the click on the custom link, which would execute the code and run a silent install. Does anyone see any hangups with this line of thought or know of a better way? My servers are not in a Domain so I can't do it that way. pjdaley Posted June 11, 2009 Share Posted June 11, 2009 Depending if you have central management software, you could push it out that way, even without a domain. You could have it on a central server, and login to each one and paste the code in IE and have it download and run it, then move to the next.
