Game won't start after install

I've installed tf2 from master > remote and thats all worked fine, when I attempt to start the server it says it's started but the server doesn't come up.

 

If i make a shortcut on the desktop of the remote to srcds.exe with the command line tcadmin is using it starts fine and everything works, the working dirs are set properly with all but root set to orangebox.

 

If i start it via shortcut on the desktop then i can see the server in the server browser and that it's started in the console, starting by tcadmin i can see the process srcds.exe start and using cpu/memory but it's not connectable or showing up on the server browser. If i check interact with desktop the console doesn't come up either.

 

The same thing happened with a CSS server.
