Derek
Not really, I check them for fraud and then allow the game servers to be set up automatically. As a result, in 7 1/2 years of business, ZERO chargebacks wohaaa, you have never had a charge back or paypal dispute ?

DougK94
I have used maxmind for about 1 1/2 years. But I do not rely solely on it, my old manual method of checking a few things works well My manual verifying of an order takes 10-45 seconds, and does not cost me a single cent. Just because an order passes maxmind, does not mean I will give it a rubber stamp approval. A "Sorry your order has not passed our fraud screening" email is sent, and I have never had a reply back questioning why. I have called many people and advised them to contact their bank ASAP as their credit card has been stolen.....
trancemode
We are using maxmind, whmcs but not automated for game servers. I prefer using automated only on ventrilo servers & web hosting. I have had once... where someone from "China" yes. some how.. bypass the WHCMS and got a free hosting up when i checked.. it shows not paid.. but his hosting was up some how. i set it as setup after payment. i made sure there no SQL injection or such. but i didn't know how he did it.. he didn't use a coupon code and there no 100% off coupon either that me nor my staff have set up. but i ban him from my site since its fraud to steal. I think it could've been that exploit in whmcs 4.0 .. but they prob fixd it now in their new 4.2 or 4.1 anyways... we usually check manually throughout the day.. we use the TCadmin stats as well and also we make sure CPU usage never peaks over 60-70% max and we use another program to monitor online and also system stats too. I can also connect remotely from my IPHONE 3GS to check all of my server using a program called Jaadu its $30 on app store to check the system usage and if its down or up. When new orders come in i have it on email , and phone sms, and such. but.. i wouldn't use automated yet.. even though we don't have a HUGE CLIENT BASE. but manully is sometimes fun. you get to speak to the customer, ask them what they need, what maps or mods they need .. so they are perfectly satisfied, happy, and they will NEVER bug you again. since i have had times where people had trouble installing zBlock and AMX mod. so i would usually ask them or tell them to put it in special instruction in WHMCS. making customer/guest happy is the key .. but for now.. i wouldn't prefer automated.. maybe later with a huge client base.
