studeggle
OK, been dealing with a new one here for the last two months or so. I have one clients server (regardless of which game as he has game switching) that if the machine restarts like for windows updates. His server ends up stuck in start pending. He can't start it, and does not have the option to stop it. I have to go in and manually stop the service then it can be started fine. Any ideas....? tehrichie
Usually startpending pops up because of a mod installation. Is the server he is on the main server as well containing the database as well?
studeggle
No remote, main only houses main controls and server files no game servers. I would think mod would result in problems more often then just on server restart and why do all this clients game servers do it.
tehrichie
Pretty odd situation... maybe submitting a ticket will get you a faster/quicker response.

I had same problem due to permissions, is the service started by local system? If not try it. I also had such an issue for an unknown reason, made a backup of server files, reinstaleld server and recovered files and was working fine again.
