proclan
System Settings > Plugins > GameMonitor Configuration When Slots, Private Status is Modified or Branding is Removed Disable the Game Server Send an Email to All Administrators
Mrkrabz
Is it possible for it to change it back to the default slot and port rather than emailing?
proclan
You have the options to either: A. Disable there server if they change the slots/branding etc. B. Have an email sent to your email address notifying you that one of your clients modified there server settings.
Cameron
Hi, im from the same company as MrKrabz, and i have seen on other hosters that if you do change the port or slots, your server info gust changes back to the normal settings... so idk if its custom or an addon
studeggle
Yes, that is custom work. And the problem with that solution is invites customers to try and defeat your system. No system is perfect if a clever customer is given enough chance they are likely to eventually find a way around it. It is best to ensure you at least know when they change it so you can identify individuals trying to steal services and trying to find a way to get around your security. Steven Crothers
Question 1: Can you override and lock the port/ip/slots via command line? Possible Solution: You could compile a python script to an executable to launch your SAMP server, that would check the config if you can't lock things via command line. It would check the port/ip/slots via a command line argument passed to it, ensuring that a customer could not override it.
