Smilie Posted November 26, 2009 Share Posted November 26, 2009 Hi, I have a problem with my ftp. It appears that when a user login, he/she can't see any files at all, neither as admin. FTP error: Connecting to uk-gaming.org on port 24. Attempt 1 of 3... 220 TCAdmin FTP Server USER admin 331 User name okay, need password. PASS ***** 230 User logged in, proceed. SYST 215 Windows_NT Server Type: Microsoft NT FEAT 211-FEAT 211 END PWD 257 "/" is current directory TYPE A 200 Command okay. PASV 227 Entering Passive Mode (81,94,203,162,19,136). Operation timed out Processing item, attempt 2... PASV 227 Entering Passive Mode (81,94,203,162,19,136). Operation timed out Processing item, attempt 3... PASV 227 Entering Passive Mode (81,94,203,162,19,136). Then it just hangs... Strange thing is that the file manager works without problems. EDIT: searched for ftp on forums and i got the solution to change the passive mode to port Further more my email settings keeps saying: Error while sending the email: 504: Command parameter not implemented. Santino Cid Posted November 26, 2009 Share Posted November 26, 2009 Your firewall is blocking the ports needed for passive mode. Do a Google for "FTP passive windows firewall". You should get some good results that will help solve the issue. As for he email, what mail software are you using? MailEnable? IIS?
