Battlefield 1942 : Desert Combat [HELP]

Hey,

 

Anyways I was wondering if anyone have ran across this problem before.

 

I am trying to run a battlefield 1942 : desert combat final game server.

 

everything is updated to latest version 1.61b i believe

 

I am also using BlackBagops (BFServermanage.exe)

 

I checked all configs and compare to mine and they are identical with the setup.

 

However.. when I try to manually boot the gameserver from remote (rdp) desktop

 

I read the server logs:

1. Server Connected ( Online )

Than suddenly..

2. Server has a POP UP

3. Auto restart is enabled

 

Than basically it just auto restart and that error msg "server has a popup"

was wondering if anyone know about this or why this is happening?

 

Punkbuster is enabled too.

 

I am guessing the server is just constantly rebooting was wondering if anyone know how to fix this?

Look in the log file of BFServermanager.

Could be the firewall??

what version of the manager are you useing?

I had this before on my windows 2008 x64 server

 

Are you using a x64?

if so then run the BF1942_w32ded and BFServerManager now in compatibility mode windows server2003 (Service Pack 1)

this fixed the problem ( i think bf1942 cant run in x64 mode)

oh, alright thanks I'll give it a try.

 

I also turned off "auto restart" and it stopped popping up

 

"server has a popup" I am thinking it has to do with auto restart and x64 bit.
