Puppy
Hi There, I recently purchased a website that is MySQL based. The old owner does not have the sql dump so i have to rebuild the database from scratch. Does anyone know a program or a way to export the mysql tables from the pages, rather than me having to go through them all which will be painful. Many Thanks, Jay. Has the old DB been deleted already if not you should be able to get access to it through the old web host. If it has been deleted then there is not much you can do but rebuild the DB. Also if the old account is deleted and it was a fairly decent provider I would imagine they have not deleted the account from there backup drives yet, I know I don't until my backup drive starts getting full. Santino Cid
If the files you received still have the MySQL login details intact, you can login and do a dump yourself using the MySQL Administrator tools.
