ACLs and win 2003 R2

When granting rights to a new user on a game server it takes a long time during which explorer gets stuck on win 2003 R2 64 bits. reason is that every single file gets checked so for some game servers it can be fast, for some others it will take a very long time.

 

I saw a fix from microsoft but its not applying to this version, tried to install it anyway and got error message.

 

Was wondering if some1 knew how to fix this or had a link to a patch as I cant seem to find anything working so far.
