1000 FPS without HPET?

Hi, is it possible to attain 1000 FPS without HPET? I have a server running Server 08 but it's a Dell Poweredge 1950 which apparently does not support HPET.

To my knowledge, no it is not.

I think there is a way around it, gary's posted shit in the past in regards to that.... I believe he swapped the system to another timer, and was able to achieve it. Dig around the forums, or gary's blog. ---OR, send him some cash and maybe he'll help you.

 

Or just enable hpet

With mm_timer cs 1.6 (hl1 based games) metamod plugin you can set more than !2000FPS!. It tested with good results: 5000+ FPS and it's only limited bu your system spec. OMG? Yes it is.
