SickPuppy
We are currently seeking to expand our share of the online racing market. To accomplish this we are offering to purchase existing companies with a minimum of 50 active customers. These customers must currently rent one of the following race simulations, rFactor, NASCAR 2003, ARCA Sim Racing. Send all inquiries to SickPuppy@hostilecontact.com We will not respond to post made in this thread.

SickPuppy
Have you thought of advertising or some other method of getting visitors to your site? We do advertise and we rent more rFactor servers than any other GSP that I know of. What I am trying to do is expand our market share by eliminating some of the smaller GSP's that specialize in race servers. NASCAR 2003 is where we would like to expand. The issue with NASCAR is that it is an old game. 95% of the customers that rent NASCAR servers have already developed a loyalty to the company they currently use. That makes it next to impossible to get them to move. It is easier to just buy out the company. There are really only 2 GSPs that have a large number of NASCAR customers, NRT and RLM and I have offered to purchase both. As for ARCA that game is DEAD I think NASCAR 2003 has a larger customer base.
Jesse
There are really only 2 GSPs that have a large number of NASCAR customers, NRT and RLM and I have offered to purchase both. I think if you put $$$ value to the customers instead of just tangible assets you might have more luck when trying to buy GSPs that have been around for more than 2 years. {-SMAKU-}_MotorMouth
Pretty sure dave owns both NRT and Redline? RLM is not Redline two different companies. I think if you put $$$ value to the customers instead of just tangible assets you might have more luck when trying to buy GSPs that have been around for more than 2 years. There is a big difference in trying to buy a sinking ship that is already under water than a ship that is "selling" and going full steam ahead. SickPuppy
I think if you put $$$ value to the customers instead of just tangible assets you might have more luck when trying to buy GSPs that have been around for more than 2 years. A well established branded company that is financially sound will have a customer base that is considered a valuable asset. A company where the handle has already been pulled and the TURD is circling the bowl, about the only thing they are worth is their physical assets and they will be lucky to recover 25% of that. NRT's customer base is considered a valuable asset because of their duration with the company and the NRT's longevity. NRT has developed company and brand loyalty in the online racing community. That is what makes his customers a valued asset as compared to the DCH customers.

Well when you go around offering low-ball prices equivalent to the price of the CPU alone I can only assume you insult everyone in the same way. I guess that's why assuming makes an ass out of you and me, my bad. I got a very nice price for this "sinking ship" thank you very much.
{-SMAKU-}_MotorMouth
I glad for you, if you got anything it had to be good. When you owe more than you have coming in it's got to be better than nothing.

You will be lucky to get $100 each for them. And the longer you hold on to them the less they will be worth.

jbiloh
The fact that a bid is open at $15 does not indicate that it will close at that price. On the US version of Ebay the price of a Q6600 chip seems to be around $100-$120.
