[Help] Servers are under attack

hey,

 

my servers are under attack and and i was reading that i should only allow the directories to read only not write or execute i go in ftp and click file permissions then uncheck the ones i need to, then the reset.

 

and if you know any more tips

DDoS? contact your datacenter they should have monitor of it and also be able to nulled the ip route.

what kind of attack, what servers (game servers or machines?)

 

u can use IPSec to block some IP/ports/protocols
