Goran
Hm donno about maintenance, but I always restart all my monitor in the morning. Once a monitor was taking 15% of my cpu, from then I'm doing this everymorning and till now no problems. Also, if you have system monitor on, reduce it to keep data 7 days and then optimize the performance table in tcadmin database.
bullfrog3459
Hmmmm, windows scheduler for the win on that for the automatic restart of the monitors. Ill have to post somewhere, the monthly automatic reboot script, the automatic mysql backup and it can backup to remote off-sites, my monitor restart, and whatever possible other goodies i have laying around my servers =] As far as daily maintenance, i would say no. Would weekly and monthly maintenance be advised; yes. It wouldnt have to be anything specific to be 'maintenance' as long as you maintaned what you have such as restarting the monitor(s), keeping the mysql optimized, making sure you have your tcadmin database backed up (i do mine nightly) and make sure that at least once a month reboot your windows servers, to clean out the crap they build up, to restart the game servers to clean them up and help them run better, and after 30-ish days windows needs a reboot anyways....windows updates =]

Regards Raghav Gowda Affinty is the process of only allowing certain applications to use certain cores or threads on a processor, its limiting it. Select running with desktop is generally bad, no need for it as the servers run better in the background without having that checked and that way you cant mess anything up running in GUID:0 when you login to the server. as far as optimizing MySQL google my friend, there are a lot of helpful tuts on mysql.com for optimizing and keeping it clean running and error free. As far as what is the system monitor....have you read the TCAdmin Stuff regarding their software and how it works? if not i would check there and read through that, they have lots of good help there regarding the TCAdmin Software.
