TS3 Beta 21 client & Beta 23 server now available

WITH THE NEW BETA 23 SERVER.

*** IF YOUR CUSTOMERS UPGRADE TO THE NEW BETA 21 CLIENT, THEY WILL *NOT* BE

ABLE TO CONNECT TO THEIR

*** TS3 SERVER UNLESS THEIR SERVER IS ALSO UPGRADED TO BETA 23.

The dev team has published additional information regarding the upcoming

release of TS3 SERVER BETA 23 as well as TS3 CLIENT BETA 21.

Per the first thread, you may at your discretion download the BETA 23 server

now, and start upgrading your customer's servers in advance of the BETA 21

client auto-update which will be activated at 9:00 CET tomorrow (that's

roughly 13.25 hours from now). HOWEVER...in doing so you must inform your

customers that they should manually download the new BETA 21 client from

http://ftp.4players.de/pub/hosted/ts3/releases/beta-21/. Keep in mind once

the auto-update feature is enabled, most of your customers will probably

upgrade to the BETA 21 client, in which case they will **NOT** be able to

connect to servers **OLDER THAN BETA 23**.

 

We hope this information facilitates your upgrade/migration path.

just copy/paste - it will auto update the permissions once you start up the server.
