win 08 console mode

Im just now experiencing win 2008 server. I have read the forums but I cant find a tutorial or instructions on how to view the services I have running in console mode similar to win 03. If anyone could please give me a brief overview of how to do this I would be extremely greatful.

Most of the time you cannot. If you need to view them in console mode you should really log into the server and start them manually from the services area in tcadmin.

 

There is an option to have them to be interactive with desktop, but because the way Win Srv 08 is setup that runs in UID:0 mode and you have to enter that mode which can really have adverse affects with stabilty of the game servers, lag, and general side effects from boucing between that and regular user mode.
