AJK2408
Yes, the directory and a few files have changed i believe - all clients need to update - once servers are updated the clients will be able to connect to servers!
adamnp
There was a client and server update don't forget to update your clients..

dimitrifrom31
use the batch update tool from TCA or create a game update edit : servers must need some change in command line or w.e so dont update all your servers if you didnt make sure they can be joined

dimitrifrom31
looks like that in fact steam updates are failing, gota keep trying until you get proper files... Well Ima keep updating and try again and again, if any1 can upload "touched files" for TCA users that would be great.
Kriszx
Looks like you need to change commandline to the OB now.
dimitrifrom31
Looks like you need to change commandline to the OB now. It is the same as the previous CS:S command: Windows Code: hldsupdatetool -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir <path-to-directory> Looks like not else I assume they would have mentionned it too

lpgservers
Your renting servers yet you haven't a clue how to update them or what the difference is AJK2408? It's an entirely different game, the exe is in a different path, whole new file structure, and changes to the commandline as the tick is firmly set at 66 with no option to run 33 or 66 tick. There are dozens and dozens of new cvars for it as well from the old source engine or only about a dozen or so from the last cssbeta previous to this release. Zblock seems to run just fine thus far but all other mods have been nullified that I've looked into. Easiest thing that worked for our purposes was to update our install and ask our customers to reinstall via tcadmin or we would do it for them. All servers were updated in no time thereafter and everyone playing. A batch update leaves the old mess behind with many mods that customers were running and was bound to cause confusion so we went the easiest or laziest route for us and the cleanest route for our customers. Sorry, haven't tested Metamod and Sourcemod as of yet and thought I had better notate that.
AJK2408
Hi, Of course i know how to update them, as i said i havent came across mass updating them as valve havent produced a big update like this before. I do know the difference is actually. - Also to confirm are we using the old command line?
