CSS and port in use

Hi there,

 

We have the CSS servers to do a update/restart at night,

but sometimes tca can not verify that the server is online and shut down the service. In the console i get this error "WARNING: UDP_OpenSocket: unable to bind socket" and css is started down on another port.

 

Does anyone know why another server steal the port?

too many servers on same IP and/or SourceTV enabled (binds on port 27020 by default).

 

Add -nohltv in command line to disable source tv or specify another (higher) port like 37020 by default using custom ports in TCA.

 

If you got too many servers on same IP then you gota spread them onto different IP. I think troubles start around 30 Servers on same IP.

We have 15 cs and 15 css servers with hltv enabled, then it looks like the Mean Machine needs more IPs,
