ricky Posted August 19, 2010 Share Posted August 19, 2010 Hi my clients keep telling me some players that try to connect to there call of duty 4 servers, get awaiting connection then disconect and they try numrous times , but allways awaitign connection. so they have to join the other teams server to play the war. dimitrifrom31 Posted August 20, 2010 Share Posted August 20, 2010 can those ppl ping your machine to see if they even get a ping ? awaiting connection is most likely due to the fact they got no response at all from the server so this is possibly a routing issue and not something with game server config. ricky Posted August 20, 2010 Author Share Posted August 20, 2010 echo ping requests was unticked on server , i have now ticked it to allow pinging to box , think that might of been the problem should i tick anything else ?? thanks so far ! If they cant evne ping it then you/they are having routing issues and you will more likely need to contact your datacenter giving them a trace route from the ppl having problems to connect. OldMan Posted September 1, 2010 Share Posted September 1, 2010 Is this a mod server or standard cod4 server , I f its a mod and the clan have moded the maps , anyone that joins indeeds to have the same mod !
