Server mods

Hello

On our TCAdmin we are trying to make some mods for people to install on there gmod servers. I have followed the tutorial on making mods for servers but it wont work after making the mod and testing it I click install then the message says "The mod is being installed. Do not start the game server. When the mod is installed the game server will be started automatically. You will receive an email when the installation has completed." but after 2 hours it has not done any thing and it did not shut down the server it left it running can anyone help:confused:.

more likely your mod file is not present on your ftp

 

 

if your gameinstalls are in C:\gameinstalls\gmod

 

then your mod (lets assume the archive is "mod.zip") should be located in

C:\gameinstalls\gmod\TCA.Mods\mod.zip

 

on your master/file server

 

 

Go to system settings > servers and check console output for your master after you try to install a mod. It should confirm that the archive cannot be found on the ftp or at least give you some info about the failure reason.

Thanks I got it to work I forgot to put .zip at the end of the file name:|:

 

in the server console it was saying file did not exist
